There was a time in my life when we only opened the Bible in church. Recently, while driving to service, I noticed how quiet the streets were on Sunday mornings.
Most of us remember those Sundays when church mattered, when mothers cooked special meals afterward, when families dressed in their Sunday best and gathered around the table together. Those treasured times seem rare today.
Yet here is what remains constant: we can open God's Word anytime now. The Bible overflows with examples of divine forgiveness that show us how to extend grace to others.
Take a moment to think about Psalm 103:8-12. These verses reveal God's mercy and grace, His love that abounds without limit. Scripture promises: "He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever" (ESV).
God's forgiveness teaches us how to respond to others. When someone hurts us, we can remember how quickly divine anger fades and how completely divine love restores. His example becomes our guide.
I miss those Sundays when families gathered faithfully, when love filled our homes and hearts connected over shared meals.
What would change in your relationships if you forgave others the way God forgives you?
If these Sunday memories stirred something in your heart, I would love to talk with you. Sometimes healing begins with a simple conversation.
