Hello Yvette:

God sees you. Every tear. Every hurt. Every moment you feel invisible or alone. This truth changes everything.

There are times when individuals share their stories with me about a relationship with a friend, sibling, spouse, or coworker. As I listen to their life events, I experience happiness for them, sometimes sadness, or even tears from what they have endured.

I continue to listen, and through our conversation, I offer words of encouragement, share connections where I have been where they are now, or provide helpful guidance.

Recently I had a conversation about how we cannot do anything on our own to make things happen faster. You will hear this truth: it is in God's time, not ours. It is when He chooses to send help, guide us, or give us peace.

Through it all, God sees us and never loses sight of us during good times and bad times. We just have to learn to lean on Him. How powerful is that truth in our lives?

David in the Bible went through many challenges, yet this Psalm reminds us how he reached out to God: "O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether" (Psalm 139:1-4, ESV).

God sees you. Go to Him and let Him bring you peace, closure, and love.
